TOA VX2000 voice evacuation system gains EN54 certification

TOA is to showcase a range of its voice evacuation systems that have been passed as EN-54 compliant at International Firex, taking place along side Ifsec at the NEC, Birmingham in May.
Now that the EN-54 series of fire safety standards have transitioned into European law TOA has announced that the most recent selection of its products to have been given EN-54 system certification is the VX-2000 voice evacuation system.

“As the first manufacturer to offer a total solution for EN54-certified voice evacuation systems, TOA continues to gain certification for additional products in its range, the latest of which is the VX-2000 voice evacuation system” says Brett Downing, Sales and Marketing Director at TOA . “Our track record in supporting and embracing these new standards has been widely appreciated by our partners who have already designed and installed systems with these new standards in mind. We now have systems that meet the new standards in locations as varied as Headingley cricket ground UK, Brussels Expo, the O2 Arena in London."

The audio specialist has now confirmed that the PC-2369EN ceiling speaker, along with horn and box speakers BS-678BSB, BS-678BSW, CS-64BS, CS-154BS and SC-615BS as well as the PC-1867FC ceiling speaker and BS-680FC steel cabinet speaker have all been given EN54-24 approval.

The entire VM-3000 Series PA/VA system and network-based SX-2000 voice evacuation wystems are also all approved.
